Hotel that we stayed in: SAKURA FLEUR AOYAMA

- Location: Shibuya
- Price: 11,800yen for 2 pax
- Hotel Website: sakura hotels
- Booking: travel rakuten
The place is really convinient, clean and reasonal price. We don't stay in the hotel often so we don't need much luxury. Do consider walking at least 5mins to the train stations with your huge bags. Look for the exit that you don't need to claim up and down the stairs.
Other Optional Hotel (nearest to the train station):
- Expensive: Tokyu Hotel at Shibuya
- Moderate: Tokyo Apartment at Shibuya (is the nearest to the train station)
- Budget: Hotel Mets at Shibuya

Shibuya is one of the twenty-three city wards of Tokyo, but often refers to just the popular shopping and entertainment area around Shibuya Station. Shibuya is one of Tokyo's most colorful and busy districts and birthplace to many of Japan's fashion and entertainment trends. Most of the area's large department and fashion stores belong to either Tokyu or Seibu, two competing corporations. A prominent landmark of Shibuya is the large intersection in front of the station (Hachiko Exit), which is heavily decorated by neon advertisements and giant video screens and gets crossed by amazingly large crowds of pedestrians each time the traffic light turns green.
Hachiko Statue - A statue of a loyal dog named Hachiko. According to a famous story, the dog waited for his master every day in front of Shibuya Station, and continued to do so for years even after his master had passed away. It is one of Tokyo's most popular meeting points.

Where to eat
- MOS burger visit is a must! To save money while you are there, is to buy lunch/dinner bento box from the supermarket before you head out to your journey. It's not really that expensive eating in Japan.
